Bundle 1 includes the SPARK Conference + Clinical Tidbits Bundled Package!
The SPARK Conference:
A virtual conference to spark new ideas when assessing and treating vestibular, vision, cervical, concussion, balance, and gait!
SPARK is all about implementing practical strategies that you can put to use tomorrow, learning from peers who are navigating the same challenges, and collaborating with others from around the globe! This event represents a unique opportunity to get clarity, strategies, 1:1 real-time connection while earning CEUs.
Vestibular rehab, vision, cervical, concussion, 3PD, peripheral visual processing, visually induced dizziness, multifactorial balance disorders, MdDS, BPPV, pediatric vestibular dysfunction…and so much more! High-quality education with invaluable bits of information that are designed to be immediately implemented into your practice.
We invite you to submit a proposal to speak at SPARK! Submit your proposal here or secure your spot with this bundle today today! Should your proposal be chosen, consider your ticket fully reimbursed.
Clinical Tidbits Bundled Package:
Includes the following educational courses:
Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness Treatment Strategies
-
Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD or 3PD) is a common yet complicated vestibular-related disorder. 3PD can be disabling for patients and challenging for clinicians. Bridgett Wallace PT, DPT is joined by Madison Oak, PT, DPT, to discuss treatment ideas for those that suffer from 3PD.
Dizziness in the Acute Care Setting
-
Join Karen Recendez, PT, DPT, Kendal Reddell, PT, DPT, NCS, and Bridgett Wallace, PT, DPT to discuss dizziness in the acute care setting. Dr. Recendez understands the challenges of evaluating acute dizziness and will provide insight into assessment and how to guide patients beyond the acute care setting.
Linking Vestibular Diagnostics to Vestibular Rehab
-
Videonystagmography (VNG) is the most widely used vestibular function test and can provide valuable information to identify both peripheral and central vestibular disorders. The VNG alone, however, rarely results in a firm diagnostic conclusion. It is best used further to support a suspected diagnosis with other inner ear-related tests. Experts agree that standardized vestibular-related tests provide insightful, objective information, but the quantitative measurements must be coupled with a comprehensive history and intake of symptoms.
MdDS: Research to Clinical Practice
-
In this training, Bridgett Wallace, PT, DPT, define MdDS and the Dai protocol, the role vestibular rehab plays in the treatment of MdDS/PSS-m, and how pharmaceutical interventions and cognitive behavior therapy have also shown to be beneficial.
Visual Vestibular Integration in Return to Sport
-
In this educational session, Todd Daniels, MS, ATC, LMT, CSCS, CCVT, ITAT discusses visual vestibular integration in return to sport: most commonly reported symptoms, concussion clinical trajectories, where to start rehab, treatment progression and hierarchy, rehab progression, and integration and RTP/RTL. (excerpt from the Clinical Pearls in Vision, Vestibular, Concussion Summit)
Visual-Vestibular Therapy for Functional Impairments Post-Concussion
-
In this 90-minute video training, Visual-Vestibular Therapy for Functional Impairments Post-Concussion Training, we review 2 case studies of patients with persisting symptoms post-concussion from 2 different outpatient clinics. The case studies include findings from their initial evaluations: one from an occupational therapist’s perspective and one from a physical therapist’s perspective. We share how we progressed treatment activities based on some impairments identified in the evaluation.
