Joining us as our guest is Shelly Massingale, MSPT, recently promoted to Associate Vice President of Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Neurosciences at Banner Health. Shelly was one of the lead clinician stakeholders who guided the development of Banner's concussion management program, a multidisciplinary effort built by a dedicated team over years. She's agreed to field your questions on what it actually takes to develop a concussion program inside a hospital system: the opportunities, the obstacles, and the lessons learned along the way.

We've also extended invitations to clinicians from the Banner concussion team, the people who have expanded the program over the years and sustained its multidisciplinary approach: a physician and physician assistant led model referring across physical therapy, occupational therapy, neuro-optometry, neuropsychology, and athletic training.
